Questions about FameDesk.

How reviews, content, rewards, access, and practice setup work—without the marketing fog.

01What is FameDesk?

FameDesk is front-desk marketing software for private practices. It gives staff clear, practical actions—such as sending a requested review link, recording a helpful answer, or capturing a useful local photo—and organizes what comes back for the owner or marketing team.

02Who is FameDesk for?

FameDesk is designed for trust-based local businesses and private practices, including optometry, counseling, dental, med spa, wellness, and similar offices where reputation and real local content matter.

03How do review requests work?

When a customer asks where they can leave a review or agrees to receive the link, a staff member can send the practice’s approved Google review link with a standard or customized message. The activity is recorded so the practice can recognize participation.

04Does FameDesk pay employees for positive reviews?

No. FameDesk does not reward a particular rating or review outcome. Review activity is framed around the process of sharing a requested link. Practices can recognize participation separately without tying compensation to what the customer writes or how they rate the business.

05Where do staff photos and videos go?

Uploads are stored in the practice’s private FameDesk marketing library. Authorized owners and managers can preview and download the original assets for Google Business Profile, social media, campaigns, or an outside marketing partner.

06Can our marketing agency access the content?

A practice can invite an authorized manager or marketing collaborator into its workspace. Access stays connected to that specific practice rather than exposing content from unrelated FameDesk customers.

07Do front-desk employees need to install an app?

No app-store installation is required. FameDesk runs securely in a phone browser and can be added to the phone’s home screen for an app-like experience.

08Does FameDesk require GoHighLevel?

No. FameDesk is built to operate independently. Messaging, authentication, practice data, and media storage can be connected directly without requiring each client to maintain a GoHighLevel account.

09Can a practice use cash rewards or points?

Yes. Practices can structure content contributions around cash or points. Review-link activity remains participation-based and is not connected to a positive rating or favorable review.

10Is each practice’s information kept separate?

Yes. FameDesk resolves the signed-in user’s practice on the server and scopes private records, uploads, team members, and rewards to that practice workspace.
