What FameDesk handles
FameDesk processes account details, practice settings, staff contributions, uploaded photos and videos, management notes, reward activity, and review-link delivery records needed to operate the service.
Review-link texts
A staff member may enter a mobile number only after the customer asks for the review link and agrees to receive the text. FameDesk sends the approved message through its messaging provider. FameDesk stores a one-way digest instead of the mobile number after scheduling, along with consent time, delivery status, and the message used.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate users, separate practice workspaces, deliver requested messages, store marketing assets, recognize staff participation, maintain security, and support the service. FameDesk does not sell personal information or use patient contact information for unrelated advertising.
Uploads and sensitive information
Users must not upload patient records, clinical information, computer screens, paperwork, or recognizable patients without the practice’s documented authorization. Practices control who may access their workspace and are responsible for their own privacy and regulatory obligations.
Service providers and retention
FameDesk uses service providers for hosting, authentication, file storage, and text delivery. Information is retained while needed to provide the service, meet security or legal requirements, and resolve disputes. A practice may request correction, export, or deletion through its FameDesk account representative.
Security and changes
FameDesk uses access controls, encrypted connections, and tenant-scoped storage. No system can guarantee absolute security. Material changes to this policy will be posted here with a new effective date.
